Sewer Scope Inspections
Sewer Lines: A Homeowner’s Responsibility
In most municipalities in the Hampton Roads and Northeastern North Carolina regions, the sewer line leading from the house to main public sewer is the property of the homeowner. This means that any defects, leaks, or blockages within this line must be fixed by whoever owns the property. We offer pre-purchase sewer scope inspections that can be ordered by themselves, or done at the same time as the Home Inspection.
The potential buyer or current homeowner will receive a detailed report documenting our findings within the sewer line, as well as a video of the sewer scope inspection.
